August 2008 Newsletter

As we head into the last weeks of summer – we hope you have had an enjoyable one!

In this newsletter there is some information on the Government Stimulus package which may help with tax benefits if you are considering purchases before the end of the year.  We also want to thank Michelle Kalech for providing the search tip for this month.  We hope you find her suggestions helpful!

Thanks to all of you, we have been growing and just purchased a building to give us some more room.  Those of you in the Langhorne area may recall Schults Bird Farm which was in business for 25 years until about three years ago.  We purchased the building after it lay vacant for 3 years and have started the exciting process of demolition and construction.  Our goal is to be in by Christmas and have a big celebration! If you are interested, you can follow the progress on our website at www.kastechco.com/building.html.

Have a great Labor Day week-end!

WWW Search Tip of the Month

Have you ever read an article and come across a term you don’t understand, or a term you hear all of the time, but don’t really understand? Next time this happens, try Google’s Define feature.

For example, we hear and read about the Consumer Price Index all of the time, but how many of us know exactly what it is (and why we should care about it)? You can type define: Consumer Price Index (make sure not to forget the colon!) into Google’s general search box and receive a list of sites which contain definitions of the term. If you don’t see the term immediately when you click on a result, use your browser’s Find feature — control F in Internet Explorer — to get to the correct location in the page.
